Mahmudul Haque is a machine learning enthusiast with a passion for exploring the frontiers of
computer
science. Mahmudul's journey began at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST)
where he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering
(EECE). From there, he went on to work as an Adjunct Faculty and Research Assistant at the
Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Independent University of
Bangladesh
(IUB) in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Mahmudul's expertise lies in the realm of computer visiona and robotics. He has authored several journal
and conference papers, and his thesis, "Detection and
Classification of Sensitive Audio-Visual Content for Automated Film Censorship and Rating," is a
testament to his innovative thinking. His current projects include developing a pelvic bone
segmentation and fracture detection system using radiographic images in collaboration with the
University of Hyogo in Japan.
Aside from his technical prowess, Mahmudul is also a creative individual with a flair for design
and video editing. He has honed his skills in various programming languages such as Python, C,
C++, and MATLAB, and is proficient in image processing with OpenCV and machine learning with
TensorFlow and Scikit-learn. He has also designed and developed apps using Flutter, built
websites with Django and Flask, and leveraged cloud services on AWS.
In his free time, Mahmudul loves to engage in co-curricular activities and has won several
awards, including the 2nd Runners-up position in the Line Following Robot Segment at Robolution
2019 and the Championship title in the Bangabandhu Inter-Department Cultural Competition 2021,
where he led his team to victory.
Mahmudul's infectious curiosity and creative mindset make him an invaluable asset to any
project, and he is always ready to tackle new challenges and push the boundaries of what is
